TRAGEDY STRIKES IN ADELAIDE’S EASTERN SUBURBS: Electrician, 73, Killed in Horror Crawl Space Accident at Family Home

In a devastating incident that has left a community in shock, a 73-year-old electrician lost his life on Friday while carrying out electrical work at a family home in Adelaide’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services received a distressing call just after 11am, with reports of a man requiring urgent rescue from a crawl space on Blue Cr in Woodforde.
Tragically, despite the best efforts of paramedics, the Athelstone man couldn’t be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident has sparked a full-scale investigation, with SafeWork SA sending investigators to the site to determine the cause of the fatal accident.
In a statement, a SafeWork SA spokesperson said: “SafeWork SA has been notified of an incident at Woodforde today and is sending Investigators to make enquiries.”
Police will also prepare a report for the coroner as the investigation into the tragedy continues.
