In a heartwarming sneak peek from ABC’s 15th annual year-end special, Robert Irwin extended a wholesome invitation to global superstar Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Super Bowl winner Travis Kelce, to host their dream wedding at his family’s world-famous Australia Zoo.
The conservationist, who recently took home the top prize on Dancing with the Stars, revealed that weddings are a regular occurrence at the Queensland-based zoo, with many couples tying the knot amidst the stunning African savanna backdrop.
“Wow, Travis and Taylor. You know what’d really, in my opinion, just absolutely make that wedding? If it was an Australian wedding,” Robert exclaimed, his enthusiasm infectious. “We have this beautiful location overlooking the African savanna, where rhinos and giraffes are just frolicking out in the open in the wild, and you get married over that, and it’s stunning.”
As the son of the late Crocodile Hunter, Robert knows a thing or two about creating unforgettable experiences. And with the zoo’s proven track record of hosting high-profile weddings – including his sister Bindi’s nuptials in 2020 – it’s clear that Taylor and Travis would be in good hands.
But this wouldn’t be the couple’s first foray into an Australian zoo. In early 2024, they made headlines when they were spotted visiting Sydney Zoo during Taylor’s Australian leg of the Eras Tour.
As Robert signed off with a cheeky message – “Taylor and Travis, hit me up — I got you!” – fans couldn’t help but wonder: could this be the fairytale wedding location of the century?
