A man reportedly drowned at Torquay Beach in Victoria’s south-east on Saturday. Emergency services were called to the beach at around 10.15am after reports that a man had been found in the water. People tried to revive him, but they were unsuccessful. The man died at the beach. It’s not clear if the death is suspicious. A young man from Eagle Farm died in hospital on Friday after he was allegedly found buried in a rural area of Queensland. Emergency services were called to a property on McLean Rd, Mount Mee, at around 8:30 pm on Wednesday. His body was discovered partially buried on the property. A man and a woman from Mount Mee faced court on various charges, including attempted murder and torture. On Saturday, the charge of attempted murder was upgraded to murder.
