On Monday, Mark Beretta, the sports reporter for Australia’s Sunrise, revealed that he and his wife Rachel have separated.
The couple have two children, Daniel, 16, and Ava, 19.
According to a statement released by the Seven Network, the couple decided to separate at the beginning of the year after 22 years of marriage.
The couple, who remain good friends, will continue to focus on their children.
On the same day, Mark posted a picture of himself on Instagram, which showed him celebrating his father’s victory after he successfully fought cancer.

In his Instagram post, Mark thanked the doctors, nurses, and cancer researchers who helped his father beat the disease.
He also thanked his family and friends for their support during his father’s illness.
This came after he revealed that he and Rachel had separated earlier this year.
