Antoinette Lattouf, who was fired by the ABC, has filed a new lawsuit against the organization, claiming that it breached its contract by dismissing her.
She also filed an unlawful dismissal claim against the company.
She claimed that she was removed from her job due to racial discrimination and for sharing a post on social media.
The case was filed by Lattouf against the ABC in the Federal Court.
She claims that the organization repeatedly breached its contract by dismissing her without following proper procedures.
According to her statement of claim, the ABC also failed to provide her with adequate information about the allegations against her.
According to Lattouf, the broadcaster also failed to give her the opportunity to explain or respond to her actions.
Her lawyer, Josh Bornstein, noted that the repeated failure of the ABC to follow its contractual obligations was a breach of Australia’s Fair Work Act.
