A man died several days after he got electrocuted while working at a construction site in the Brisbane Airport suburb of Pinkenba.

The man from the Sunshine Coast was 30 years old.

Emergency services were called to the Bancroft Road worksite at around 10.50 am on Tuesday after reports of an injury.

The QFES noted that four of its crew members responded to the scene to assist paramedics, who were trying to access the building’s roof using a crane.

The man was then taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The man died on March 1.

The incident is being investigated by the Workplace Health and Safety Department of Queensland.
