In a shocking attack caught on camera, a man was assaulted outside a shopping center in Brisbane, Australia.
He was repeatedly kicked and punched by two teenagers.
The video, which has been shared widely on social media, shows the attack happening even after the victim fell to the ground.
The two suspects, who were identified as teenagers, were arrested by the Queensland Police on February 27.
They are accused of assaulting the man outside a shopping center in Carindale. He was then taken to a hospital for treatment.
A short time later, the police arrested the two suspects.
One of the teenagers, who was from Tanah Merah, was charged with one count of assault and one count of stealing.
He is scheduled to appear in court on March 12. The other suspect, from Coorparoo, was charged with one count of assault.
Through the Youth Justice Act, the police were able to resolve cases involving young offenders by giving them more flexibility.
The video has been widely shared on social media, and many of the people who commented on it called the attack unacceptable and said that the teenagers involved were not respectful or had no morals.
Others claimed that the law did not deter them from committing crimes.
