Kyle Sandilands has defended Holly Valance after she called Greta Thunberg a “demonic little gremlin” during an interview on the GB News Political Podcast.
The actress and model, who is married to Nick Candy, said that she doesn’t understand how Thunberg, who is an activist for climate change, can be regarded as the “head priestess” of the movement.
According to the radio personality, all of the kids are suffering from anxiety and depression.
He asked why they would spend their time studying or going to music lessons if they think that they will die in five years. On Monday, he supported Valance.
When asked about climate change, the radio personality referred to it as “bull****.”
He also criticized Thunberg. During the controversial segment, Valance talked about her life in Australia during the 1990s. She also discussed how different it has been from her current situation.
During the interview, Valance said that growing up in Australia was unreal, as it was so fun. She also criticized the country’s “nanny state” culture, saying that the government would fine anyone who breathes.
In addition, she criticized the teaching of sexuality in Australian schools as part of the “woke” culture. She stated that she doesn’t think that anyone’s sexuality should be regarded as anyone’s business. She made the comments during a February appearance on GB News. She said that people tend to mature out of ideas that are radical.
According to Valance, people who start out as lefties eventually realize that they have no idea what they’re doing when they start working and running a business. She rose to fame after playing the role of Flick Scully in the 1999 soap opera Neighbours.
Valance came back to the show in 2022 during its “finale.” She worked alongside some of the soap opera’s most notable actors, such as Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia. After leaving Neighbours, she released a couple of pop songs, including Kiss Kiss. She then married Nick Candy in 2012.
