The body of a man was found in bush near George Bass Dr. in Lilli Pilli, NSW, on the southern coast, on Monday morning.

A large police response was called in after a person on a morning walk spotted the body.

It is believed that the man was killed before his body was dumped.

A section of the road has been cordoned off by police. Specialist units have also been deployed to the area to carry out line searches.

It is not clear how long the body had been there before the person came across it.

The body may have been burned prior to it being dumped.

This is why the police are treating the incident as suspicious.

They have carried out numerous line searches in the area, and it’s not clear how long the corpse was in the bush.

They’re also looking into the possible connection between the missing and the deceased.
