The billboard, which was placed in front of a Chingu Korean BBQ restaurant in Melbourne’s Caroline Springs, has caused quite a bit of confusion.
It reads, “Hey Sophia, you broke up with me because I was poor”
The restaurant, which hasn’t opened yet, has been attracting a lot of attention from across the nation.
The post, which went viral on Reddit, caught the attention of the restaurant’s potential customers.
Many of them were shocked by the owner’s bold move and wanted to know more about the mysterious message.
Others suggested that the restaurant’s owner might have been trying to create a buzz before the establishment’s official opening.
On Reddit, some users noted that revenge is regarded as the best type of barbecued dish.
Others said that Sophia might not be able to appreciate the message because her new boyfriend is paying rent for his business. A local establishment responded to the restaurant’s message by posting a similar message.
In response, Gotham Doughnuts put up a banner that said, “Yo, Korean BBQ, don’t worry about Sophia.”
It also stated that they have all the desserts that customers need. It’s believed that the owner of the restaurant is currently overseas.
