Emily Sidoti flies the world’s largest plane, an A380, every day.
The 37-year-old Australian is the first female pilot to lead an A380 fleet for Emirates.
She said that her flight can take off anytime and reach any part of the globe, depending on the time zone.
As an international pilot, Emily enjoys the challenge of managing various professional tasks and the thrill of flying around the world.
When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family in Dubai.

She said that her kids are spoilt for choice in the city. They have access to various attractions such as the world’s largest water parks and luxury beach clubs.
Emily noted that her kids are growing up with a positive outlook on the world due to the multicultural environment they are living in.
They go to international schools, where they can participate in different academic and sporting activities.
Emily, who is an expat living in Dubai, said that having a supportive family is very important for her and her work life balance.
Her husband, who is also a pilot, is very supportive and helps her adjust to the changes in her career.
Her family enjoys the perks of being able to travel in business class.
Before she became a pilot, Emily worked in various industries such as high fashion and real estate.
When she was 18, Emily had enough money saved to fund her pilot’s license.
She started her career as a flight instructor and later worked on various charter operations, such as transporting juvenile offenders.
After working for several years in Australia, Emily transferred to Emirates, a leading international airline.
She said that working as a female pilot does not differ from being a male pilot. All of the company’s pilots are trained to follow the same high standards.
Emily, who is captain of one of the world’s largest airplanes, said that when she started working in what is typically regarded as a male-dominated industry, she was initially surprised by the reaction of some people.
She noted that her father, who is also a pilot, questioned her ability to perform at a professional level.
