Due to a major change to the Lotto draw format, Australians will now have the chance to win a million dollars.
Previously, the draws were conducted on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday. However, from now on, Friday will be added as an option.
The Monday and Wednesday Lotto, which is commonly known as the Gold Lotto in Queensland and the X Lotto in South Australia, will be renamed as Weekday Windfall on May 20.
This new game will introduce a Friday draw option, which will give Australians another chance to win.
It’s believed that this change will mark the first significant enhancement to the game in 12 years.
Matt Hart, a spokesperson for The Lott, said that they are excited about the upcoming launch of the Weekday Windfall game.
According to Hart, Australians have expressed their desire to win more money and opportunities to become millionaires.
The Friday draw will also give them another chance to experience the excitement of winning a million dollars.
For instance, the division one prize for the Weekday Windfall game will be increased from $1 million to $1 million.
The public can purchase their Weekday Windfall tickets starting next month.
Hart noted that the odds of winning any prize within the game’s weekly draws remain the same.
In order to win the $1 million division one prize, players will have to match all six numbers drawn.
The results of the Weekdays Windfall draw will be announced after the event has taken place at 8.30 pm AEST on each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
