A woman who was reportedly a beautiful childcare worker and mother was found dead in a home in the Central West region of NSW.
Emergency services were called to the Forbes home at around 1.50 am on Monday after receiving reports of a woman’s welfare.
The deceased was identified as Molly Ticehurst.
A man was apprehended a hundred kilometers away from the scene.
He was taken to the Parkes Police Station and later charged with murder. He was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
The man spent the day assisting the police with their inquiries.
According to Detective Inspector Jason Darcy, the suspect and Ticehurst were known to each others.
He noted that there was a domestic relationship between them. One of the lines of inquiry that the police are looking into is the fact that the man visited Ticehurst’s workplace before she was transferred.
Ticehurst was remembered as a dedicated mother and childcare worker who loved her six-year-old son.
The police stated that the child was safe. Following a crime scene was established, an investigation was carried out, and the death was confirmed.
A forensic team was also sent to the home to look for evidence.
