Families in NSW may be eligible for a $180 energy rebate to help with their electricity bills.
The state government also noted that people who receive the Family Tax benefit may be entitled to a $500 lump sum payment.
The rebate is available to families with dependent kids. According to Service NSW, applications for the program will close on June 16.
Those who are on-market customers can apply for the rebate online.
If you are a household member in NSW and have a valid electricity account, you may be eligible for a one-off payment of up to $500 from the financial year 2023 to 2024.
This rebate can be used to help with your electricity bills.
You must meet the following eligibility criteria to be eligible: Your household has not yet received the NREL Household Payment.
You must also have lodged your tax return with the ATO and finalised your Family Tax Benefit entitlements with Centrelink.
