A light plane crashed in Victoria’s alpine region on Saturday afternoon, killing two people.
The incident happened at Mount Beauty, which is about 300 kilometers northeast of Melbourne.
Several resources were sent to the area, including air ambulances and paramedics.
According to the Victoria Police, the passenger and pilot of the plane were the only people on board when it crashed.
The incident occurred just a couple of years after another fatal crash in the area.
In 2022, Matthew Farrell, a pilot from Mount Beauty, died when his plane crashed as he was flying to Wollongong.
