The two women who died in the tragic Legacy Way tunnel incident in Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon have been identified as Emma McLean and Lily Galbraith.
They were traveling in the same car when a black Audi collided with them.
While Ms. McLean is currently in critical condition, Ms. Galbraith, who was from South Australia, passed away due to the accident.
A memorial page for nurses and midwives paid tribute to the nurse on Thursday.
Sending love and prayers to Emma’s family, friends, and colleagues, the post read.
It also stated that the couple was on their way to a wedding at the time of the accident.
It occurred in the Legacy Way tunnel at Mt Cootha.
On Wednesday evening, Ms. McLean underwent an emergency surgery after she suffered critical injuries.
She is currently in a hospital in critical condition.
She made a video of her engagement to Harry earlier this month, and she captioned it with the message, “You and I forever.”
