The future of The Masked singer is not clear, as producers Warner Bros TV are reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing it back for a sixth season.
It’s believed that the show, which has a high price tag, could be canceled due to the current economic situation.
Compared to other expensive shows, The Masked Singer is more stripped down, which is why it’s believed that the ad market will impact new unscripted programs into 2025.
In addition, the show needs to secure international talent and judges.
A spokesperson for 10 confirmed that the network is currently planning on announcing its second half schedule.
It’s also not clear if The Bachelors will be coming back.
It’s also uncertain whether Gold Logie nominee and Osher Gnnersberg will be able to continue as the host of The Masked Singer.
There are still a lot of exciting projects that the network is planning on launching in the next few months.
Some of these include The Amazing Race Australia, The Great Australian Bake Off, Dancing With The Stars, and The Great Australian Escape.
