A fight broke out inside a Westfield shopping center in Perth, Western Australia, on Friday afternoon.

A man suffered facial injuries during the brawl, which was witnessed by a number of people.

The assailant then boarded a bus and fled the scene.

The police did not make any arrests following the incident. A spokesperson said that a knife was secured at the scene, and they were still looking for the other suspect.

There were no further threats to the public. According to reports, the incident happened in the Myer department store.

People were reportedly told to stay quiet as the store was locked down.
