The Western Australia police arrested a man after a fight broke out at Perth’s Westfield Carousel mall on Friday afternoon.
The incident prompted the mall to be placed on lockdown.
Although one of the men was armed with a knife, the police claim that no one was injured during the fight.
The 20-year-old victim was punched in the head and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Initially, the police said that three men assaulted the victim.
However, on Saturday, they claimed that they only looked for one person of the three involved in the brawl, and that one of them was arrested.
The police confirmed that a weapon was recovered at the mall. It’s not clear if the two men knew each other prior to the incident.
The Cannington detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
