The Sunshine Inn, a vegetarian restaurant and bar located in inner Sydney, is set to close its doors after four years.
The establishment’s owners posted on their Instagram page that it would be closing in June. They noted that it had been a “wild ride.”
The restaurant and bar, which specializes in plant-based dishes, are known for their creative and healthy food.
The restaurant’s fans are devastated by the news. Many of them asked the owners to keep the menu and services up and running, while others said they would never eat there again.
To bid farewell, the establishment is holding a farewell dinner party on June 6. The menu and special drinks will be available for a limited time only.
Many of the questions about the venue’s closure were unanswered.
One of the most popular vegan fast-food chains in the country, Lord of the Fries, closed its last store in NSW earlier this week.
The establishment was about two kilometers away from the Sunshine Inn.
According to the ABS, households are spending more on food, while restaurant and cafe spending decreased in March.
