It has been reported that several more breakfast shows will be axed following the removal of Jase and Lauren Phillips’ show from Melbourne.
The ARN, which owns KIIS FM, decided to replace them with The Kyle & Jackie O Show, which airs on the station in Sydney.
Since Kyle has stated that he wants his show to continue until it is broadcast in every capital city, many believe that it will happen soon.
According to Craig Bruce, the pair will become the country’s first national breakfast program.
In an interview with news.com.au, Jackie O and Kyle claimed that they have no idea where they’ll be broadcasting their program next year.
Kyle stated that he and Jackie O are still open to discussing where they’ll be broadcasting their program next year.
He said that if they do well in Melbourne, then they’ll be able to take the program to the national level.
However, he noted that the performance of the local ARN breakfast shows will also be taken into account before they are replaced by the new program.
According to Kyle, the reason behind their decision to move to Melbourne is because they believe that the KIIS FM breakfast show, which features Lauren and Jase, can’t compete with the other programs in the market. He also stated that he doesn’t feel bad about potentially affecting the jobs of the local radio presenters.
When asked if he and Jackie O are worried about their future in Melbourne, Kyle said he doesn’t care. Jackie, on the other hand, noted that she and her co-host don’t want to lose their jobs. The pair also stated that they want to continue dominating the radio industry and on television.
Jackie noted that they’re already thinking about how they can make their program more accessible to people by allowing them to listen in whenever they want. She said that this could be done through an app or a website.
Jackie O also said that she doesn’t know where her program will be broadcast next year. Kyle noted that he believes that the various forms of media, such as radio, television, and podcasts, will eventually converge into one product. He and Jackie O are committed to being at the forefront of this new industry.
