A young London man who died at 15 years old is set to be the first millennial saint of the Catholic church after a second miracle was attributed to him by the Pope.
Carlos Acutis became known as a computer prodigy who spread the Catholic faith online before he died in 2006.
Born in 1991, Carlos Acutis moved to Milan with his parents when he was young.
He was then referred to as the “digital saint of the internet.”
He created a website that catalogued various miracles and helped with the websites of Catholic organizations in Italy.
While he was in primary school, he learned how to code and create animations using a university textbook.
In 2020, Carlos became the youngest modern saint to be declared by the Catholic church.
He was able to cure a Brazilian boy who had been suffering from a serious birth defect.
After attending a prayer service, the boy asked for the intercession of the teenager.
Mattheus, who attended the service, said he felt “healed.”
The other miracle was reported to have happened to a Costa Rican girl who was studying in Italy.
According to the CEI newspaper, she was able to recover from a head injury.
