Sarah Carey addressed the rumors that she and Joe Bobbin have already split up following the season of Farmer Wants A Wife.
The 31-year old Queenslander was able to steal the heart of the farmer during the show’s final episode, which aired on Tuesday.
Their union was criticized by fans on social media, who were displeased by Sarah’s behavior during the season’s final episode, in which she had a contentious confrontation with Joe.
Sarah later revealed that she and Joe are still together, though she was left heartbroken by the reactions of the show’s viewers.
In an interview with 7NEWS.com.au, Sarah said that she felt upset and emotional due to the situation.
She also noted that she cried on the phone with Joe after the episode ended.
According to her, she found it hard to keep up with the cameras as she tried to establish a connection with Joe.
She said that she was being called moody and self-centered, and that the negative comments about her behavior were not something that she expected.
She and Joe, who are both sensitive individuals, are committed to maintaining their relationship in the real world. The couple often visit Joe’s farm in Bombala in NSW.
Sarah noted that she and Joe were still trying to navigate their new relationship.
In another interview, Joe stated that he felt sorry for Sarah, as people would try to ruin their relationships after they’ve appeared on shows such as Love Island and Bachelor In Paradise.
