A man and his daughter died after a car crash in Sydney’s west. The incident happened at around 7.40 pm on Sunday.

A man and his two children were trapped inside the sedan when it rolled after it was hit by a ute.

The other occupants of the car, which was a DiDi vehicle, were taken to hospital.

The bodies of the man, who was 41 years old, and his daughter, who was 12, were found at the scene.

His 10-year-old son was taken to a hospital for treatment. The DiDi driver, who is 52 years old, was also taken to a nearby hospital.

The 19-year-old driver of the ute was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

According to police, the rideshare vehicle was turning right when it got hit.

The footage from the car’s dashcam was analyzed, and the assistant commissioner of NSW Police said he was satisfied with the way the driver conducted his turn.

According to the rideshare driver, he was able to make a safe turn using only one green light.
