A young Aussie boy who was bullied at school got an opportunity to appear in the Mad Max movies with some of the most prominent actors in Hollywood.
Quaden Bayles, who was reportedly tormented by his classmates due to his dwarfism, had been struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts before his mum, Yarraka, posted a video of him asking for help.
George Miller, the Oscar-winning director of Mad Max, decide to cast Quaden in his upcoming film, Furiosa.
The movie, which is the fifth in the franchise, reveals the origin story of Furiosa, who was played by Charlize Theron in an earlier film. Quaden was joined by fellow Australian actors Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy in this action-packed movie.
The movie was shot in New South Wales, and it was expected to be the biggest film in Australia.
It didn’t come as a surprise for Quaden, as he had already appeared in other movies.
In one of Miller’s movies, he worked alongside some of Hollywood’s most prominent actors, including Tilda Swinton and Idris Elba.
During the premiere, Quaden caught the attention of the media with his red carpet presence.
He said that he loved being an actor and would like to do more films.
