This week, Jerry Seinfeld said on his podcast that he misses the ‘real man’ and ‘dominant masculinity’ time.
Many people were offended by his comments, which were aimed at talking about how dominant masculinity is.
He was talking about his 1960s-era show “Unfrosted,” which he said was full of nostalgia.
During his interview with Bari Weiss, Seinfeld said that he grew up thinking of various famous individuals, such as Muhammad Ali, Sean Connery, and Howard Cosell, as real men.
He added that he never actually grew up and that he doesn’t want to be like these types of men anymore.
He said that he misses dominant masculinity, but he still enjoys being a real man.
He said” I want to be like that someday. Well, no, I never really grew up.
You don’t want to, as a comedian, because it’s a childish pursuit. But I miss a dominant masculinity.
Yeah, I get the toxic, thank you, but still I like a real man.”
