New details about Murphy’s phone were revealed last week after it was recovered in Buninyong, near a dam.

The phone was found in a teal-colored case, and it can be confirmed that its in near-new condition rising hope for finding answers of her disappearance.

According to Murphy’s husband, the items found in the dam, which included her iPhone, license, and credit cards, were discovered in mud.

Sources said the phone could provide investigators with vital information about the last movements of the missing mother.

Her phone’s metadata will be analyzed to see if it can provide investigators with information about Murphy’s last movements.

As part of the investigation, the police conducted a search of the dam using divers and metal detectors. Also, aerial shots showed an excavator removing dirt from a road.

Family members of Murphy were notified of the search.

The detectives focused their attention on bush land about 18 kilometers from her home in Buninyong, and 2 kilometers from where her phone was recovered. On February 4, Murphy left her home in Eureka St., Ballarat, to go to the Canadian State Forest.

Although the police conducted an extensive search of the Buninyong area in March, they were not able to find traces of Murphy there. In addition, they have conducted extensive searches in the Enfield State Park and the Canadian State Forest. It’s believed that Patrick Orren Stephenson killed Murphy at Mount Clear.
