Since Australia was the third last country to appear at the Olympics, fans were left disappointed with Nine’s coverage of the ceremony.

They also didn’t like Karl’s commentary. From calling his hosting duties “horrific” to begging him to shut up, many people shared their anger online.

The coverage of the ceremony by Nine was not well-received by fans.

They didn’t like Karl’s commentary, as well as his claims about the weather.

One person called the network’s coverage pathetic.

One person asked why Karl was asked to host the ceremony, while another suggested that Todd Woodbridge should have been the host.

Others said Channel 9 should have provided the audience with no commentary.

Some of Karl’s commentary was deemed cringe-worthy, especially when he compared Australia to other countries.

Other people were complaining that they were unable to watch the coverage due to how all the stations of Channel 9 had vanished from their televisions.

They said they would search for other ways to watch the event.
