Actress Janet Andrewartha, who played the role of Lyn Scully in the long-running soap opera “Neighbours,” passed away on July 28 at the age of 72.

Her death was confirmed by the show’s official account.

The entire “Neighbours” family is deeply saddened by Janet’s death. She was a beloved character who was known for her work on the show.

Lyn, who was played by Andrewartha, remained a prominent part of the series until 2006.

She was also accompanied by her on-screen kids, namely daughters, Michelle, Kate Keltie, and Carla Bonner, as well as her husband, Joe Connor.

Thousands of tributes have been posted on social media by her fans and colleagues.

One of her co-stars, Jackie Woodburne, referred to Andrewartha as one of the best actors of her generation.

She was an extraordinary woman who was known for her passion for politics, humor, and curiosity.
