In the 66-kilogram category, a judoka from Tajikistan named Nurali Emomali made headlines during the Olympic Games in Paris on Sunday.

He faced off against an Israeli named Baruch Shmailov.

According to reports, he refused to shake Shmailov’s hand after winning the match.

He also allegedly shouted Allah Akbar at his opponent.

In the quarterfinals, he faced off against Hifumi Abe of Japan.

Unfortunately, he was forced to withdraw due to an injury.

In the repechage round, Serbia’s Strahinja Bunic advanced via walkover.

In the final, Abe faced off against Willian Lima of Brazil.

Lima was able to secure a silver medal, which was his first Olympic medal.
