The epicenter of a powerful earthquake was off the island nation of Tonga in the Pacific.
It occurred at around 2:00 am on Tuesday.
The earthquake was magnitude 6.0.
According to Geoscience Australia, the epicenter was about 154 kilometers from Nuku’alofa.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
