The partner of Lachlan Carslake, who was killed in a workplace accident last week, has revealed her heartache following his passing.
He was 28 years old and was working at a company in Adelaide when he suffered a severe head injury.
It’s believed that Lachlan was operating a machine when the accident happened.
He was immediately rushed to a hospital, where he eventually died on Saturday.
According to his family, he was placed on life support, surrounded by his loved ones, and his partner Tahlia.
Tahlia stated that Lachlan passed away on Saturday due to the accident.
An investigation has been carried out by SafeWork South Australia, and a report will be presented to the coroner.
She is waiting for him to come back and visit her.
The cruel nature of his death has left her with a broken heart.
She said she keeps thinking about him and how he was her whole person.
She is struggling to cope with the grief and is asking herself how she should be doing this.
