Simon Baker, who plays the role of psychiatrist in the hit TV show “The Mentalist,” was charged with drink driving, just days before the annual Logies ceremony.

The 55-year old will appear in court on next month. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and attempting to drive while intoxicated.

He didn’t have bail conditions. Baker is nominated for an award at the TV Week Logie Awards, which will be held on Sunday.

He is up against other actors from different shows and movies for his work in “Boy Swallows Universe,” which has received 11 nominations.

The show is also up for a total of 11 awards. Before he became an actor, he was able to earn a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.

For his performance as Patrick Jane in the TV series, he received a star.

He has been nominated for various awards, including the Golden Globe and Emmy.

He started his career in Australian soap operas, such as “E Street,” “A Country Practice,” and “Home And Away.”

It was then revealed that he and his wife, Rebecca, had split up in 2021.

Baker and Rigg first met on a blind date in 1991. They then got married in 1998. They have three children together, who are all from Los Angeles.

In 2015, he said that marrying his wife was the best decision he ever made.

It’s widely believed that Baker spent a lot of his youth in the northern rivers region of NSW.

He also owns a property in Nashua, which is close to Byron Bay. After his marriage ended, he briefly dated Laura May Gibbs, an activewear designer from Byron Bay.

Gibbs responded to rumors that she and Baker broke up after she attended a protest against the vaccination mandate. Baker will appear in court in September.
