Before the Logies, Robert Irwin had to put on makeup to hide the scars he suffered after a freak accident.
He said he caught crocodiles for a month while he was in the north.
He said he was attacked while he was hanging from a 14-foot-long crocodile. He said he grabbed the animal by the head and was knocked off its feet.
He suffered a lot of skin damage on his face. His makeup artist had to cover the wounds and keep the skin on his face looking fresh.
Irwin, who is nominated for a Gold Logie award, said the makeup artist had to cover his wounds so that it would not look like he had been in a war.
Despite the scar, he is still excited to be at the Logies and said that it would mean a lot to him if he won.
He said being at the Logies is another way for him to reach out to the public.
He also noted that his father always said that he doesn’t mind if people remember what he said.
