Denyer, who won the Gold Logie award in 2018, said he pushed himself too much before he stopped.
He told the Mental As Anyone podcast that he used to be very skinny and unhealthy, and the doctor said that his organs were running at around seven percent.
Denyer said that he was told by his doctor that he would die if he didn’t take action in the next couple of weeks.
He said that he had to change his mindset and prioritize what was important in life.
The first lesson he learned was about breaking his back, and the second was about chronic fatigue.
Denyer said that the reason he broke his back was not because he jumped seven cars in a truck, but because he didn’t pay attention to all of his body’s signals.
He added that he would eventually die because of his aggressive pursuit of the next rung on the ladder.
Denyer noted that the truck crash occurred as his mental health and body were deteriorating.
He is one of Australia’s most prominent television presenters and is known for his work on programs such as Sunrise and Deal or No Deal.
In the Mental As Anyone podcast episode, Denyer opened up about his insecurities and how he found his place within the competitive and brutal entertainment industry.
He also talked about his struggles with prescription drugs for his back pain.
His wife, Chezzi, and their three daughters helped him get through the difficult times.
He said that the accident deeply affected him.
He noted that people often fall into their worst nightmares immediately after closing their eyes at night.
They can’t distinguish between reality and their dreams, which makes them believe that what they have just dreamt actually happened.
During one of these nightmare episodes, I couldn’t walk.
I thought that there was an intruder inside our home, and I had to go out to fight them. It was horrendous.
