Liam Newman, 25, of Queensland, died during a skydiving incident near Tarawera, which is about 260 kilometers from Toowoomba.

Emergency services were called to the area on Tuesday. His friends and family have shared their grief on social media.

The skydiving company iFLY Indoor Skydiving confirmed Newman’s death in a Facebook post.

The company, which is based in Brisbane, said it was devastated by the incident.

Newman was a staff member of the organization and was a much-liked individual.

To honor Newman, the company decided to close its facility in Brisbane.

A fundraising page was also created by his friend Cody Mason.

According to Mason, Newman was a keen jumper who would often push the limits.

He said that Newman died due to a skydiving accident.

Newman was a bold and determined individual who would do anything to achieve his goals.

His close friend described him as a brother, and it is heartbreaking to see him suffer such a tragic end.

The Forensic Crash Unit of Queensland Police is currently investigating the incident.

Newman was tended to at the scene and later died.

The  APF has also commenced an investigation into his death.
