After almost two decades as a weather presenter for Channel 7, Liz Cantor is moving to Network 10.
She will be joining the network’s First Queensland news team, which will be anchored by Sharyn Ghidella.
In her new role, Cantor is excited to bring the weather to Queensland and to introduce the region’s great places to more people.
She said she is looking forward to working with Erin Edward and the team at Network 10.

She then moved into television when she was eventually hired by Channel 7.
Throughout her career, she has presented various lifestyle programs on Queensland television, such as Weekender and Creek to Coast.
She said that she was sad to leave 7NEWS but that she was a loyal person and wanted to work at Network 10.
Although it was a difficult decision for her to leave the Seven Network, she said that she was still excited about the direction that Network 10 was going.
In addition to her new role at Network 10, she will also continue to present various lifestyle programs, such as Creek to Coast.
This is a rare opportunity for her to work across both the network and Seven.
