On August 20, a Wells Fargo worker died at her while working on her desk.
Her body was discovered four days later.
According to police, Denise Prudhomme was 60 years old when she was found.
She had reportedly used her ID to enter the bank’s office at around 7 a.m.
An employee of the bank said that she felt sick after hearing that the woman had been sitting at her desk for several days.
She noted that nobody did anything to address the issue.
According to the outlet, some of the workers had reportedly complained about a foul smell before returning to work, but the incident was dismissed as a result of the building’s plumbing.
Another employee stated that a colleague discovered the body of Prudhomme inside her cubicle.
According to reports, security personnel then called the cops after finding her.
Although the cause of death has not been released, officials noted that the preliminary findings did not reveal any signs of foul play.
