An Australian man reportedly died after he fell unconscious at Bali’s Ngurah Rai airport.
It’s believed that he fainted in the arrivals area of the facility before noon on Wednesday.
Nyoman Darsana, a spokesperson for the airport police, said emergency services attended to the man.
The man was taken to a hospital, but he died before he could be saved. It’s the fourth death of an Australian in just three weeks in Bali.
Thomas Cossins, who was 30 years old, died on August 30 after his motorcycle crashed while he was riding at high speed.
Shane Ramsay, a Perth tradie, died a week earlier after he was involved in a scooter accident while he was in Bali for a friend’s wedding.
The 30-year-old from the city of Clarkson was flown back to Perth after he was severely injured.
However, he eventually died at the hospital. His family was able to raise enough money for his medical evacuation.
On Saturday, a woman from Australia died while she was on a diving trip in the island of Nusa Penida.
She reportedly fell unconscious after her dive. She was taken to hospital, but she did not survive.
