On Friday, Tracy Vo, a news anchor for Channel Nine, revealed on Instagram that she had lost her baby five months early.
She posted a picture of her baby’s handprints and footprints along with a rabbit toy and a beanie. She is currently married to Liam Connolly.
She wrote that she carried her baby for five months but that they weren’t meant for the world. She and her husband named their son James Connolly.
The couple’s hearts were broken but they were still able to find comfort in knowing that their son was at peace.
She stated that her parents loved her son and that they would love him for a lifetime. She also thanked her friends and family for their support.
Despite the heavy burden that they have been carrying, she stated that they were still finding light at the thought of their son.
Thousands of messages from her fans and friends poured in for Vo and Connolly. Some of these included love for the couple and their son James.
Her colleague, Scherri-Lee Biggs, said that James will always be remembered. In her home city of Perth, Vo said “I do” to her partner, Liam Connolly, last year.
Among the other people who attended the wedding were Sylvia Jeffreys and Allison Langdon.
As a Channel Nine employee since 2007, Vo opted for a custom strapless gown by MerakiWhite. Her prominent friends posted photos of the event.
The couple started dating after they met through Hinge, a dating app.
Before she got engaged to Liam, Vo said that she almost gave up on dating. According to 9Honey, she had already moved on from her previous relationships and was happy to be single.
She also noted that she had deleted her various dating apps. She then got an alert on her phone, which led her to her new husband.
