On Saturday, Australian actress Nicole Kidman announced that her mother, who was 84 years old, died.
She was in Italy to attend the Venice Film Festival.
During the event, she was given an award for her performance in Babygirl.
Halina Reijn, the film’s director, presented the award to Kidman on her behalf.
She then shared a statement about her mother, who passed away earlier in the day.
In her statement, the actress said that she was in shock when she learned about her mother’s death, but this award meant a lot to her.
She was a woman who made me who I am today.
Through Halina, I have been able to say her name to everyone who knew her.
The cause of her death is not known. It’s believed that she will be returning home to Australia.
In 2016, Janelle, was rushed to a hospital after experiencing a suspected heart attack. It was two years following the death of her husband, Dr. Antony Kidman, in a restaurant in Singapore.
