Andrew O’Keefe, a former television personality, was rushed to hospital after overdosing at a party in Sydney’s Vaucluse early on Saturday morning.

Responding to reports of a welfare issue, emergency responders were sent to the area.

They then revived O’Keefe before taking him to St. Vincent’s Hospital.

According to the police, officers were dispatched to a residence on Old South Head Rd. in Vaucluse at around 3:40 am to check on a man’s welfare.

Upon arrival, paramedics administered first aid before taking the individual to the hospital.

The police are still investigating the incident. It has been reported that O’Keefe was released from the hospital a couple of days after he was taken there.

This incident occurred a couple of months after he was apprehended by the police for allegedly possessing a crack pipe following an incident in Point Piper.

During his court appearance in August, he was charged with various offenses. One of these included entering an enclosed area without permission.

O’Keefe was charged with domestic violence in January following an incident in September 2021.

He was convicted after he spat at a woman and kicked her.

Last week, he lost his appeal and was ordered to serve a 12-month community corrections sentence.
