The son of David Hart, a legend of the West Coast Eagles football team, died over the weekend.
Kye David Hart was 24 years old. He was from Queensland and lived on the Sunshine Coast.
His death has left his family devastated.
Hart was an All-Australian selection during the 1980s and 1990s, and he won a premiership in 1994.
Like his father, Kye played for the Noosa Tigers in the Queensland Amateur Football League.
A GoFundMe has been established to help the family with their grief.
One of his family members said they were in a state of shock and couldn’t explain how much they loved him.
According to his aunt, Ms Hart, he had the biggest heart.
He was known for his contagious smile and would light up any room with his love and laughter.
He also wanted to help other people.
There are so many words that can’t express how much he will be missed by his family.
The family is asking for support to help them through this difficult time.
The funds will be used to cover the funeral expenses.
The football team West Coast Eagles also sent their condolences to the Hart family.
