Comedian and TV personality Julia Morris shared a picture on Instagram on Friday showing herself in a hospital bed while wearing a bandage around her forehead.
The 56-year-old former host of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! shared the picture with her followers after being diagnosed with skin cancer.
In her post, Julia noted that she wished she had used sunscreen more often.
She also said that she’s currently suffering from the effects of the Australian sun.
Julia’s fans were quick to react to her post, with many of them sending their well wishes to her.
One of the people who commented on her post was Melissa Leong, a judge on the dessert competition show Dessert Masters.
She noted that the post was a great reminder to everyone to get regular skin checks.
Julia’s co-host on I’m A Celebrity, Chris Brown, complimented her on her appearance and said that she looked stunning.
Bindi Irwin, another former participant of the show, also sent her well wishes. Other celebrities such as Michelle Bridges and Brittany Hockley also praised her for sharing her message.
Julia’s post came just a couple of weeks after fellow TV personality Edwina Bartholomew revealed that she had been recently diagnosed with cancer.
She said that she was glad that she was in the early stages of her illness.
Julia said that she was initially surprised by her diagnosis. However, she noted that she was very positive that she was able to find the cancer early enough.
She noted that she didn’t have any symptoms when she was 40. She said that doctors discovered her condition due to her regular health check.
