A young waterskier named Jack Coaldrake died after he hit the water while he was on the Hawkesbury River near Sydney, Australia, on Sunday morning.
He was 25 years old. Emergency services were immediately dispatched after he hit the water.
Upon reaching the shore, he was immediately treated by paramedics, however, he passed away at the scene.
His friends and family paid tribute to him as a skilled waterskier.
Dave Coaldrake, Jack’s father, said the family was in disbelief following the tragic incident. He noted that the hole left in their lives will never be filled.
He thanked everyone for their support and said that Jack was a great person.
Jack loved life and was dedicated to making it better. His family and friends are currently going through hard times following his death. He was a great person and a dedicated waterskier.
The World Waterski Association also praised him as a highly valued member of the community.
In a statement, the organization noted that Jack was a great individual who made a huge contribution to the community.
He was also known for his work in the media, which highlighted the best of what the area had to offer.
The investigations regarding the incident are still ongoing.
Jack will be greatly missed, but the legacy he leaves will live on in the hearts and minds of his many friends.
