A young motorcyclist died after crashing into a guard rail on a South-North freeway in South Australia’s north on Thursday afternoon.
Nathan Anderson, 19, was from the city of Adelaide and had a passion for motorcycles. He was reportedly on his way to work when he crashed at around 4.30 pm.
Anderson was returning home after attending a trade school.
The incident occurred on the freeway. At first, the police tried to find another motorcyclist who was with him before the accident.
They noted that he didn’t stop and didn’t return to the scene. He then came forward to help the investigation.
Some of the people who rushed to the scene said they saw the motorcyclist overtake a truck before the accident. However, he didn’t make it.
According to his friends, Anderson was a young L-plater who only started riding recently. His family said he was a kind and loving individual.

His death was the 65th road fatality in South Australia this year.
The police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage that could assist the investigation to contact them.
