Two women died in a head-on collision that occurred on Perth’s Indian Ocean Drive near Neergabby on Saturday.
The incident happened shortly after 5 pm.
The two cars, a white Honda Accord and a silver Jeep, collided on the road.
The victims, who were identified as the Honda Accord’s driver and passenger, died at the scene. A police spokesperson said that both were Indonesian nationals.
The four passengers of the Jeep and the driver of the vehicle were also treated at the scene by paramedics from St John WA.
On the same day, three individuals died after a car crashed into a house at Carlisle.
The victims, who were all men, were identified as aged 23, 22 and 34.
Two of their companions, who were 19 and 23 years old, were seriously injured.
The driver, who was 22 years old, has been charged with manslaughter.
He is due to appear in court on Sunday. Crash investigators are also appealing for witnesses to come forward.
