Over a hundred people reported feeling the earthquake that occurred in Victoria on Saturday morning.
According to the Seismological Research Centre, the tremor, which had a magnitude of 3.0, happened at around 10.45 am at a state park northwest of Melbourne.
A subsequent aftershock had a magnitude of around 1.6.
Geoscience Australia noted that the earthquake was felt by over a hundred people, including those from as far away as Mornington.
It was the fourth seismic event to occur in the country within the past two weeks.
Tuesday, a 4.2 earthquake was felt in the Hunter Region of NSW.
