Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper, has just announced that he’s kicking the habit – and we’re not talking about his music career!
The 52-year-old, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, took to Instagram to share the news with his fans, saying he’s decided to give up smoking after much consideration and conversation with his family.
A Surprising Move for the Rapper
The announcement has left fans stunned, given Snoop’s well-documented love for weed. Some have wished him well, while others are questioning whether it’s just a publicity stunt.
But one thing’s for sure – Snoop’s decision has sparked a lot of interest, and we’re all curious to know what’s behind it.
The Only Person Who Can Out-Smoke Snoop Dogg
As Snoop’s announcement made waves, a clip from 2018 has resurfaced, where he revealed the only person who can out-smoke him – and it’s a famous musician!
During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Snoop was asked to create a “Mount Rushmore” of pot smokers. He named some big stars, including Seth Rogen, Bob Marley, and Cheech and Chong.
Willie Nelson: The Pot Smoking Champion
But the biggest surprise came when Snoop revealed that Willie Nelson is the only person who has ever out-smoked him.
“I had to hit the ‘time out’ button,” Snoop admitted, saying he’s never had to do that before. Willie Nelson himself recalled the time he spent with Snoop in Amsterdam, where they hit every bar and smoke spot in the city.
“We had a helluva time,” Nelson said, and it’s clear that these two music legends know how to have a good time.
As Snoop starts his journey to a smoke-free life, we wish him all the best. And who knows – maybe he’ll even inspire others to follow in his footsteps.
