A shocking incident unfolded in Adelaide’s Oakden suburb on Sunday night, leaving many stunned.
A police dog, Gus, narrowly escaped injury when the patrol car he was in was set on fire.
The Dramatic Events Unfold
The drama began when a police dog operations patrol was called to Sussex Ct in Oakden just before 10:30 pm to address a disturbance.
Officer and police dog Jax were searching the area while Gus waited patiently in the back of the vehicle. But little did they know, a sinister figure was lurking nearby.
A Desperate Act of Arson
About 15 minutes into the operation, the officer spotted a dark figure near the rear of the vehicle. In a split second, something hit the open tailgate, and flames erupted.
